Opera II XRL V02.001: New Functionality

Cube Analysis provides an insight into summarised business operations and trends. The information is populated from a query extraction into a DataMart and OLAP (On-line Analytical Processing).

Opera II source data is selected to form the dimensions of the cube; dimensions can be a row, column or slice. A measure is a quantity value returned from the Opera II source data, its location being determined by the intersection of the three dimensions. Cube Analysis results can be manipulated further in order to provide a greater insight into the results retrieved. The Cube Analysis utility allows you to drill down on a measure result and to display data trends as a visual representation, via the Charting Wizard.

An Alert can be applied to the selected range of the Format Table; the Alert can then be used in the Vision Alert program. The Alert can be used multiple times in the current workbook. When the workbook is extracted, if the result in the Value Cell falls within the range in the Format Table, the Alert is triggered.

All customers with a current Opera II Annual Maintenance Contract will automatically receive all of the above enhancements and new functionality when upgrading to Opera II XRL V02.001.
