Opera II - Pegasus delivers ahead of schedule!
Opera II v2.25 was recently released ahead of schedule which must be a first!

In addition to a few minor enhancements this release included the launch of the Advanced Nominal ledger module. The release of the Advanced Nominal is the first phase in a series of developments planned for the Nominal ledger which are due for release during 2003.

Phase I includes:
The ability to cater for up to 24 financial periods rather than just 13
The ability to rebuild the nominal period values should the financial periods change
Two additional ‘floating’ analysis codes which could be used for Department or Project analysis
The ability to have Cost Centre budgets as previously budgets were only available at the account level
A powerful nominal data viewer with drill-down capabilities

Other enhancements added with this release included:
The Pushpin feature which enables transaction View forms to stay on top of their parent form. This makes browsing through information much easier eg Customer accounts and outstanding transactions.

The capability to Email Remittance Advices to suppliers

Plus improvements in the time to load some forms of up to 25%!!
